Ministry 

The Goal

To connect and minister to the needs of brothers and sisters in Christ, ages 65 years or older, as we continue our Christian walk, perfect our faith, and grow in God’s love and grace. Our ministry is tailored to affirm life experiences, interests, wisdom, talents, and gifts, all to the glory of God! As participants in the Senior Adult Ministry, we continue to serve, and are an active and vital part of the life of the church.

  Take the Spiritual Gifts Test

Build relationships with each other through studying in our Bible Study Discipleship groups (D-groups), fellowshipping, and worshiping together.
Demonstrate love with a servant’s heart attitude.
Minister to the needs of our members, by providing opportunities to build relationships with one another through activities such as going to see a movie or going on our annual boat ride.

Mission

To fulfill the Great Commission (Matt.28:19) by bringing persons to Christ, and by helping Christians experience a closer relationship with Him.

Join us as we build and deepen relationships with one another while growing spiritually together. Together we will connect through worship, prayer, Bible study, luncheons, and social activities, such as our movie outings and annual boat party.

David Chapel is a cross-generational church with a heart for the community, and we are committed to doing just that. Whether it’s serving within the church or providing donations for the community, we are devoted to showing God’s love through service. 

Evangelism is a key part of what we do. Some of the ways we spread the Word is by partnering with other ministries to support praying for and providing resources to those in our church and in our community.
