Meet Delon Bowen
Minister of Worship
Bro. Delon Bowen began his music ministry at an early age, as a drummer at Holy Trinity Church of Chicago, Illinois under Rev. Charles Cherry. By the age of 14, Bro. Bowen had taught himself to play the organ. With direction from Arthur Williams and Kevin Bond, both musicians at Holy Trinity, the organ quickly became his favorite instrument.
After graduating from Dunbar Vocational High School, Bro. Bowen continued his education at VanderCook College of Music where he obtained his first Music degree. He later attended Chicago State University and the Chicago Conservatory of Music to further his knowledge of music.
In 1998, Bro. Bowen became a member of New Saint Mark Church of Chicago, Illinois under Apostle Aaron Holmes Jr., where he served as the Minister of Music. Later in 2022, he joined David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Austin, TX under Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Joseph C. Parker, Jr. as the Minister of Worship.
Bro. Bowen is married to Sis. Alice Bowen and they are blessed with five daughters and one son. Together, the couple has become an anointed songwriting team. Through it all, Bowen’s main goal in life is to do the will of the Lord and what is pleasing in the sight of God our Father.
