Meet Vedia Miles

Administrative Assistant

Vedia L. Miles is a proud native of Austin, Texas.  She currently serves as the Administrative Assistant at David Chapel, a role she has held since November 2023. Prior to this position, Vedia dedicated herself to education as an Elementary School Teacher in several Central Texas school districts, including Austin ISD, Pflugerville ISD, and Hutto ISD. A lifelong learner, Vedia earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Huston-Tillotson University in 2000 and later completed her Master’s Degree at Concordia University in 2009.

Vedia’s connection to David Chapel runs deep. She has been a faithful member since the age of 10, when she recieved Christ was baptized at the church. Over the years, she has served in numerous leadership and ministry roles, including Director of Children’s Ministry, FEW (VBS) Director, Senior Choir Member, and Sunday School Secretary. Her love for God, passion for ministry and commitment to nurturing the next generation are at the heart of her service.

Outside of her professional and ministry roles, Vedia is the proud mother of three daughters: Jasmine, Janae, and Dena. Vedia’s life is marked by her unwavering faith, her love for God, her care for her community and dedication to family, ministry and education.
